Partnership for Inclusive Innovation

I had the pleasure of collaborating with Dr. Gross on a recent professional development session, and her impact on our 80-person intern cohort was truly remarkable. She led a session on organization and time management, and it became the most engaging and interactive session to date!

Her expertise in facilitation shone through in her ability to create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment. The interns were not just passive participants; they were actively involved, asking questions, sharing experiences, and truly grasping the concepts. This level of engagement was a breath of fresh air, and it's a testament to Dr. Gross' skill in crafting engaging workshops and leading transformational conversations!

Goddard Riverside Senior Leadership Team

Goddard Riverside

Dr. Gross helped Goddard Riverside put our values into action. She worked intensively with our senior leadership team to hone our vision into an actionable work plan by leading a full day retreat for us. She was helpful in identifying pain points and areas needing clarity which then better prepared us to work with all our program leaders in another intensive full day retreat. We were able to come to agreement on how we will live our key organizational values and to identify the next steps to follow through on our brand promise for the people we serve every day. Her inclusive, open and interactive approach meant we had fun while we did all that work too. Our team highly recommends Dr. Gross to colleagues seeking to advance their strategic planning while strengthening team understanding and communication.

I enthusiastically recommend Dr. Sharitta Gross for program evaluations and design. I had the opportunity to engage Dr. Gross in the evaluation of a critical youth development program targeting young men of color and founded from the work of President Barack Obama. Dr. Gross is an expert in the content and used that expertise to provide support and professional development to the program staff as well as an accurate evaluation. Dr. Gross is a highly polished professional and dedicated to excellence.

Sharitta did a presentation for our student leaders, including Resident Assistants, Orientation Leaders, and Peer Mentors, in Fall 2022.

She focused on sharing the results of her doctoral research, which included strategies for helping BIPOC students succeed, and also touched on thoughts about how to build an inclusive community.

Sharitta's presentation was very carefully prepared and engaging and it encouraged student reflection. Our student leaders were listening intently and reflecting thoughtfully on their own experiences in College and how best to support their peers.

Sharitta did a wonderful job working with our student leaders and preparing them to create a supportive and inclusive environment on campus.

Being a leader has its pros and cons. In my opinion, as a leader, you shield your staff from the dumpster fires and grenades that others may start. I take extreme pride in leadership and administration (hence my enrollment in a doctoral program in administration and leadership). I believe in finding ways to provide opportunities for my staff to enrich themselves while learning about the strategic plan of the Paul Robeson Cultural Center.

My team and I engaged in a six-hour retreat with our amazing facilitator, Dr. Sharitta Gross. Words cannot describe the level of engagement and connectedness we all felt throughout this retreat. I am grateful for Dr. Gross and her skillset in effectively communicating our strategic plan, leading us through discussions, helping us understand change management, and empowering my staff to realize that they are all leaders, regardless of their titles. In my experience, one can be a senior director and still not know how to lead.

We are so grateful for our time with her!
