Being a leader has its pros and cons. In my opinion, as a leader, you shield your staff from the dumpster fires and grenades that others may start. I take extreme pride in leadership and administration (hence my enrollment in a doctoral program in administration and leadership). I believe in finding ways to provide opportunities for my staff to enrich themselves while learning about the strategic plan of the Paul Robeson Cultural Center.

My team and I engaged in a six-hour retreat with our amazing facilitator, Dr. Sharitta Gross. Words cannot describe the level of engagement and connectedness we all felt throughout this retreat.
